Dry Sorbent Injection (DSI)

Dry Sorbent Injection (DSI) is an effective solution for controlling acid gas emissions such as sulfur dioxide (SO2), sulfur trioxide (SO3), and hydrochloric acid (HCl) in industrial operations. By injecting dry alkaline sorbents into the flue gas stream, DSI efficiently removes these harmful pollutants, improving air quality and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Our solution features advanced system automation, allowing precise control over the amount of sorbent injected. With in-house engineering expertise, cutting-edge technologies like Nol-Tec’s resistive splitting, and a reliable network of sorbent providers, we enable quick adjustments to optimize performance and meet evolving operational needs.

How It Works

A dry powdered sorbent, such as hydrated lime or sodium bicarbonate, is injected into the flue gas stream. The sorbent reacts with pollutants to form solid byproducts, which are then captured through downstream particulate control devices, such as fabric filters or electrostatic precipitators.
